On Location Photography's frequently asked questions
1. How soon should I book my wedding Photography with On Location? The sooner the better. It is not uncommon for On Location photography to completely book up 1 Year in advance with Owner, & Lead Photographer Jeff Faddis commonly booking 18 months out. 2. I am 4 months from my wedding day, is it too late to book On Location Photography for my wedding? Sometimes, On Location Photography gets clients that change their wedding date. So it is always best to check with On Location as soon as you know what day your event will be on & you have booked a location. 3. Do I own the rights to my wedding images? Yes. By selecting a package with On Location you get full rights to the images taken at your wedding. 4. How many images will On Location Photography take? The short answer is lots. At a typical wedding with coverage of 8 hours or more On Location usually takes no less then 1,500. Longer weddings tend to have more then 2,000 to 4,000 images taken. Not all of these are portfolio quality, but by taking more images, you get more of those special once in a lifetime moments. 5. Who will be the photographer at my wedding if I book with On Location? Typically, Owner & lead photographer Jeff Faddis. In the event that Jeff is already booked for your day you will be assigned to another one of our talented team members. You will know your photographer at the time of booking. 6. If Jeff Faddis is not going to photograph my wedding, can we meet the other photographer ahead of time? Yes, Yes & Yes. On Location will be happy to set up a meeting between you and your photographer. Your assigned photographer will also photograph your engagement session so you may get a feel for what the wedding day will be like and so you can get to know your photographer a head of time. 7. Do I have to have an engagement session? No. However I request that Every couple find an hour to have the session. It allows, your photographer & you as a couple to go over your likes and dislikes and you get some great photos too! 8. What location is the engagement session done at? Pretty much anywhere local. I try to limit engagement sessions to the King & Snohomish county area for client convenience and scheduling. There are many locations that work great and I would be happy to suggest one if you need some help picking that perfect location for your engagement session. 9. Are wedding dates booked on a first come first serve basis? Yes. Book early to avoid having On Location Photography booked for your wedding day. 10.Can I purchase more albums and prints from you after the wedding? Yes. We would be happy to meet and discuss albums and prints after the wedding at any point that you are ready to start that process. 11. Do I have to get my prints & albums from On Location? No. But we encourage you to use our expertise and vast selection of output options that we offer. Additionally images printed at your favorite local lab will not match the exact color of your original proof prints due to profiling differences. When we print them, they will match your original proof prints for that optimum color and clarity. 12. How many photographers will be at my wedding? Typically just one. With the Platinum package you will receive a second photographer at no charge. 13. Can I add another photographer to my wedding package? Yes. We would be happy to schedule a second photographer for a small additional cost at the time of your booking. 14. Does On Location Photography photograph weddings outside Washington state? Yes. In fact we love to travel. On Location has done many destination weddings over the years and would be happy to arrange something to fit your needs. Have another question not covered by this page?
