On Location Photography's frequently asked questions
1. How soon should I book my senior portrait session with On Location? The sooner the better. Don't wait until the September rush to get your portraits done. If the fall colors are what you want, the make sure you call to schedule your session to avoid missing them. We book up 2-3 weeks out during the fall. 2. When is my yearbook photo due, is it too late to book On Location Photography for my senior portraits? Most school yearbook photos are due the middle of October. However, all schools are different. Check with your yearbook staff and book early to avoid missing that important deadline. 3. Do I own the rights to my senior portrait images? Yes. By selecting a package with On Location you get full rights to the images taken during your session. 4. How many images will On Location Photography take? The typical "C" package gives enough time for us to capture 100-200 images. You will only see the best of the best in your proof images. 5. Who will be the photographer at my Children's, Family or Senior session? Typically, Owner & lead photographer Jeff Faddis. 6. Do I need to put on extra make-up for my portrait session? No. Feel free to wear what you are comfortable wearing. Nothing special is needed. 7. My session is outside, what happens if it rains? Yes, I have lived in the Northwest all my life and realize it rains sometimes. Typically when booking, you will receive 2 session times & dates. This is incase of inclement weather. However we do not typically cancel a session until a few hours before as overcast days are some of the best to photograph on. We do not however photograph in the rain or excessive wind. 8. Where will my session be at? Pretty much anywhere local. It can be in your home with portable studio equipment or outside at a great local park. I try to limit portrait sessions to the King & Snohomish county area for client convenience and scheduling. There are many locations that work great and I would be happy to suggest one if you need some help picking that perfect location for your portrait session. 9. Are portrait dates booked on a first come first serve basis? No. Avoid saturday's as On Location Photography is usually booked for weddings, but other then that most days are open. 10.Can I purchase more albums and prints from you after the session? Yes. We would be happy to meet and discuss albums and prints after the session at any point that you are ready to start that process. 11. Do I have to get my prints & albums from On Location? No. But we encourage you to use our expertise and vast selection of output options that we offer. Additionally images printed at your favorite local lab will not match the exact color of your original proof prints due to profiling differences. When we print them, they will match your original proof prints for that optimum color and clarity. 12. What if I don't like my portraits? On Location Photography would be happy to set up one additional photographic session to correct any quality issues made by our photographers. We do not set up additonal sessions for hair or makeup issues and ask that you take care in setting up hair and makeup appointments prior to your session. For School portraits and quantity corporate images, We would be happy to set up a second session at an appropriate time. If an individual wishes a refund from the group at that point. On location Photography requires a RMA request to be filled out & submitted along with a signed declaration that the client has not scanned, copied or duplicated in whole or part any of the images that where delivered after any session within 3 months of the of the original session date.
